What is different about this 4.0 industrial revolution?

Hi guys! Surely you have heard the word industrial revolution 4.0, then do you know what the industrial revolution 4.0 means? let's get acquainted!
Yes, the industrial revolution 4.0 has recently become a hot topic for some people. So, don't miss out on the information.
So, the industrial revolution 4.0 is an industrial change that we can mark with the increasingly advanced use of technology in the industrial sector, at this time information and communication technology is used optimally. With the industrial revolution 4.0, it is very influential for the digital world.
The industrial revolution 4.0 is also referred to as the transition between generation Z and generation Alfa. Generation Z is the term for the generation born around 1990-2015. Generation Z is characterized by characters that are less focused than the millennial generation, but are more practical; more individual, more global, more open-minded, quicker to enter the workforce, more entrepreneurial, and of course more technology-friendly (Adam, 2018).
The first Generation Alpha (also called Generation Glass) was born in 2010, the same year that Apple's first iPad was released and Instagram was first launched. 2010 is also the year Whatsapp was born. Generation Alfa was born in an era that is full of screens and multi-tasks. Unlike conventional paper media, glass screens have become a new medium for the dissemination of kinesthetic, visual, interactive, connected and portable content (Mccrindle, 2019).
Guys, don't you know? The industrial revolution 4.0 opens up new opportunities and challenges for all aspects of life, including education. Then, how has the industrial revolution 4.0 changed education? What will happen in the future in terms of teaching and learning?
President Joko Widodo launched the "Making Indonesia 4.0" movement which is the government's commitment to enter the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.
To realize "Making Indonesia 4.0" in this era of the industrial revolution, the world of education in Indonesia really needs to prepare itself by making some changes, because the world of education will later print and produce quality generations who will fill the industrial revolution 4.0. So, the things that need to be prepared are:
• Changes from the way of learning
• Mindset
• As well as how students act in developing creative innovations in various fields.
So what should students and universities do to face these changes? After knowing what the industrial revolution 4.0 is, namely the renewal of course, we must be ready with all the opportunities and challenges that will be faced in the future. Especially as students, we certainly have many challenges that we will face but we must not focus on the challenges that exist, we must be able to see opportunities that we can take or use to develop ourselves. As we all know that the industrial revolution 4.0 has also resulted in high competitiveness between individuals, so students should be encouraged to continue to develop themselves so that they can compete in life both in the world of education and career. We as students must be optimistic in achieving our goals and strive to continuously develop ourselves. In my opinion, what universities should do to deal with this change is to prepare or provide a forum for self-development for students and continue to stimulate student enthusiasm so that students have tough personalities and do not give up in competing and facing challenges in this change.
